We are passionate about mountains!

We want to share the upland environments with you, safely and responsibly. We believe that people should be given the skills to push their own boundaries and find their own limits. But to do this, there needs to be a foundation of knowledge and respect.

Pro-Mountain specialise in friendly, informative experiences in beautiful places. Predominantly we work in the UK's national parks but often lead expeditions further afield - The Himalayas, Tien Shan and other fantastic mountain ranges.

Pro-Mountain is run by Caroline McCann and based in the Peak District National Park where a large majority of our courses are centred. Caroline is a Winter Mountain Leader, as well as holding various other qualifications including rock climbing, mountain biking and advanced first aid.

 

Pro-Mountain works with a small and select team of experienced freelance instructors who are fully qualified and insured for all of the activities that they instruct.
